Dhvani and Mac were married on March 29, 2008 and Laura was there to capture it. The intimate ceremony and reception was held at the Mind Puddles gallery in the Montrose area and catered by Ruggles grill. The bride and groom reside in Seattle where Mac has just taken a position at Microsoft. They were such fun to work with and we wish them the best of luck!
We were recently asked what we have done in an effort to be more "green". Although we may not have gone as far as we can, we certainly are making strides. Click on the link below to view our current list.
Tiffany is going to marry Travis on June 14, 2008. She wanted her bridal done at the Chapel of St. Basil at the University of St. Thomas, where they will have their ceremony. Tiffany is a graduate of St. Thomas and now teaches elementary school.
Karla and Ben were married on March 16, 2008 at the Omni hotel. This was such a great wedding as they brought together her family from El Salvador and Ben's family from Pittsburgh. The bride marched down the isle to the sound of a live mariachi band. There were so many little details that showed their personalities and made this event unique. The couple are both attorneys and have lived in Manhattan for about 10 years. Congratulations!
This had to be one of the most thoughtfully put together and wonderful weddings we have ever had the privilege to cover. Ian and Katherine met through a friend and must have been meant to be together because you can really tell that there love for each other is great. There were so many little details and beautiful things at this event. The ceremony and reception were held on March 15, 2008 at a private farm in White Hall Texas. The bride rode to the ceremony on horseback to meet her groom in a grove of trees covered in beautiful flowers. She was led in by two men playing bagpipes (family friends who owned the farm, one of which also performed the ceremony).
After the ceremony the guests all gathered round for drinks and dinner followed by games and cake cutting. We have a LOT of photos that we wanted to show off because this wedding was just perfect. There are so many variables that can go wrong with an outdoor wedding in Texas, and this one came off without a hitch. The couple will reside in the UK after they get back from their honeymoon. Congratulations and thanks so much for letting us be a part of your big day!
Katherine and Ian are getting married this Saturday on a private ranch in Navasota, TX. They are a truly lovely couple and were so much fun to photograph. You can really tell that they have a great time together and there is a lot of love there. Isn't that what marriage is supposed to be all about? We can't wait to cover their wedding as I am sure it is going to be as extraordinary and special as they are.
First let me say that Melissa and Jared are such a gorgeous couple it would be impossible to get a bad photo of them. They are getting married on May 31 at the Bentwater Yacht Club. We can't wait to cover their wedding!
