David traveled to San Jose del Cabo, Mexico this last weekend to cover the destination wedding of Brooke and Trey. The wedding festivities were held at the amazing Cabo Azul Resort. Brooke and Trey were so laid back and easy to work with as were their friends and family. It certainly was an honor to have been chosen to be their photographer.
In total 34 people were in attendance. Nearly all of them came in from Texas. The bride's signature color orange was reflected in various ways. From the invitations, programs, monogramed towels and dinner napkins, groom's tie and cufflinks, flowers and especially her shoes. David was also impressed by her wedding ring which was a diamond in the raw.
The ceremony was held in an unbelievable outdoor pavilion, El Corazon. It is an open-air, five story wedding chapel with candles, water falls and torches that overlooks the Sea of Cortez. All I can say is that it is simply an amazing location. The lighting, design and view were unmatched for an outdoor ceremony. A single lantern was placed at the front in memory or Trey's mother.
Following the cermony David led the couple down to the beach for sunset shots.
The cocktail hour and dinner was held outdoors on the veranda overlooking the beach at Javier's Restaurant. After dinner and toasts, the guests were invited inside for dancing and cake
