Stacey and James were married this past Saturday at Christ Church Cathedral downtown with a reception following at the Hotel Icon. These guys are such a fun couple and we have had an amazing time working with them these past few months. Laura got to go to Round Top and Blanco to do Stacey's bridal and their engagement session and it has been fun getting to know them better.
We started our coverage over at the Icon, in the penthouse suite. It has a lot more room and light than a regular bridal room at a church so we got some wonderful photos there. We then headed over to the church for the ceremony and after we went a few blocks over to the Icon. The guests ate chic comfort food, cake and enjoyed cocktails and Black Cows (otherwise known as root beer floats). Music was provided by the El Orbits, who are awesome. They play Monday nights at the Continental Club, you should go see them! There was also a special cake and song for Stacey's grandmother who was celebrating her 90th birthday that evening as well. Flowers courtesy of Darryl and Company.
Stacey and James are currently on honeymoon in St. Martin's. Wish we could have been invited to take photos there!

Sarah and Jordan were married on July 18, 2009 at Christ Church Cathedral with a reception following at the Museum of Natural Science. The couple had a beautiful ceremony and the party at the museum was an elegant event yet still a rocking party! Entertainment was provided by Austin's Blind Date Band who are quickly becoming one of our favorite wedding bands. Not only are they really excellent and seriously versatile, they might even jump on top of a table and rock out for a finale. Serious fun! The scrumptious menu was provided by City Kitchen Catering. They made a chilled Senegalese soup that was to die for, not to mention the filet! Day of event coordination by Alia Rdissi with Belle of the Ball who always makes the day run smooth. The brides cake was fashioned after the design of her dress and was crafted by Nadine with Who Made The Cake! And last but not least, decoration and flowers were provided by Johnathan Andrew Sage. After a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Houston.

Karen and Billy tied the knot on December 29, 2007. The ceremony was held at the beautiful Christ Church Cathedral downtown with a reception following at Artista Restaurant. The service even had the full Christ Church choir perform during the ceremony. There was more music provided at the reception by Fried Ice Cream, who are always a lot of fun. And the wonderful and extremely yummy dinner was topped off with a cake made by Bobbie's Cake Creations. All in all this was one heck of a party! Photos by D. Jones Photography.
