Erin and Hans were married this past weekend at the Rice Memorial Chapel with a reception following at La Colombe D'Or. The couple first met while both were students at Trinity University.
The ceremony was very warm and touching and the gold alter at the Rice Chapel just added to the glow on the brides face as she married her beau. After the ceremony the reception was in La Grande Salon de La Comtesse and if you have never been there it is surely something to behold. A few years back the folks at La Colombe D'Or restored a full French ballroom and installed it here. The carving are immaculate. You can read more about it here.
The couple will continue to reside in Houston after a honeymoon in Maui!

Sarah and Trent were wed this Saturday at the always impressive St. Martin's Episcopal Church accompanied by the Houston Children's Chorus. The reception followed at the Junior League of Houston with entertainment by the Fried Ice Cream Band.
Event coordination was handled wonderfully by Kristin Cogan with Keely Thorne Events. The bride even created the decorations for the candy stations which went over extremely well. To end the evening the couple was showered with fall leaves and departed in an antique 1953 Cadillac presidential stretch limousine.

Kelley and John were married on October 11, 2008 at the Hotel ZaZa in a wonderfully unique ceremony. Music for the ceremony was provided by Divisi Strings. The groom walked in to a string arrangement of the Rollings Stones "Paint it Black" while the bride was led in by both mothers to "Hey Ya" by Outkast. The recessional was to "Break on Through" by the Doors. Reverend Gail Williford of St. Paul's UMC officiated the ceremony. The decorative furniture and florals were provided by Events in Bloom, linens by Distinctive Details and the individual cakes for each guest by Bobbie's Cake Creations.
The guests were then treated to a six course meal with individual wine pairings and an introduction by a sommelier from Tasting Room. Kelley and John had set up video games and pinball machines provided by Joystix as well as Rockband on a Wii for the guests to enjoy, and enjoy it they did! This was a really fun wedding that we are not likely to forget anytime soon. The whole thing could not have been orchestrated to this level without the help of wedding planner, Cole Mark of Buzz Events, who did an outstanding job!
