Lindsey and Paul were married last Thursday in an intimate ceremony at Tiki Island.
When I (Laura) first spoke to them (a week or so before their wedding) they were just going to have a small ceremony with the two of them and a judge at a local park and then we were going to go take some fun portraits of the two of them around Galveston. Well, as the week progressed, friends and family gathered together and the plan changed significantly and we had a full blown wedding! I was really amazed at what they managed to pull of in less than two weeks time! They had a gorgeous outdoor wedding at the Village of Tiki Island at a friend's house surrounded by all of their family and friends. And we still got to do a few photos around the Strand :)
The couple honeymooned in San Francisco and will continue to live in Galveston while Lindsey finishes medical school at UTMB. Congratulations you guys and it was great to meet you!

We covered Natasha and Drew's wedding in November of 2008 and they have just added to their family! Anne Marie Parma was born in June at 37 weeks and she weighed 6lbs 10oz and was a whopping 20 inches long. They call her "Annie" and she is such a sweetie. Laura got to hang out with Natasha, Drew and Annie while she was taking some senior photos for Natasha's sister Clara who was visiting in from Montana. She could not help but snap a few photos of this beautiful baby too!

Laura and I went down to Galveston with Amber to trash her dress. Amber was married in June and as she had no more immediate needs for her dress, she decided it would be fun to trash it and we were there to document the occasion. We started at the Railroad museum and ended at the beach.
Trash the Dress is growing into a world wide movement and we are always happy to accommodate our clients who might like this service. Not all sessions actually involve ruining the dress, in fact most can simply be dry cleaned after the session.
