Amber and Mike tied the knot this past Saturday at Northgate Country Club. The sunset ceremony was held outside on the golf course followed by a reception inside the club. Both were beautifully decorated with florals from Last Petal. The weather held up perfectly and everything went smoothly. The bride and groom are currently on honeymoon in St. Lucia and will reside in Houston upon their return.
Amber is getting married on October 18, 2008 at Northgate Country Club, but we all agreed that we should do her bridal portraits at Paraiso Maravilla, a gorgeous event facility in the Galleria area. We love to do portraits at this location because of the variety of settings they offer. Amber is such a sweet and beautiful bride (look at those eyes) and we can't wait for her wedding!
This had to be one of the most thoughtfully put together and wonderful weddings we have ever had the privilege to cover. Ian and Katherine met through a friend and must have been meant to be together because you can really tell that there love for each other is great. There were so many little details and beautiful things at this event. The ceremony and reception were held on March 15, 2008 at a private farm in White Hall Texas. The bride rode to the ceremony on horseback to meet her groom in a grove of trees covered in beautiful flowers. She was led in by two men playing bagpipes (family friends who owned the farm, one of which also performed the ceremony).
After the ceremony the guests all gathered round for drinks and dinner followed by games and cake cutting. We have a LOT of photos that we wanted to show off because this wedding was just perfect. There are so many variables that can go wrong with an outdoor wedding in Texas, and this one came off without a hitch. The couple will reside in the UK after they get back from their honeymoon.
