Amber is getting married on October 18, 2008 at Northgate Country Club, but we all agreed that we should do her bridal portraits at Paraiso Maravilla, a gorgeous event facility in the Galleria area. We love to do portraits at this location because of the variety of settings they offer. Amber is such a sweet and beautiful bride (look at those eyes) and we can't wait for her wedding!
Alix is getting married this June. Her fiance is Don plays for the Detroit Lions. We photographed her bridal portraits at Paraiso Maravilla, which is a lovely venue. We can't wait for the wedding. They are such a great couple and we did an engagement session with the both of them a few months back.
Well the date finally came and Donna and Carl officially tied the knot on February 14, 2008. If you keep up with our blog, you will remember that we did two Trash the Dress sessions with Donna (one in Vegas!), a bridal session and another portrait session. She was putting together a book to give to Carl as a wedding present. Well the book and the wedding turned out wonderful. We wish you both a life filled with happiness and love.

I say this was Donna's real bridal session because we have already done two (2!) Trash the Dress sessions with her. The first was here in Houston and the second was in Las Vegas. She is making a super secret project for her beloved to give him as a wedding gift. Donna's actual wedding date is on Valentine's Day at Paraiso Maravilla, which is also the location we did her bridal shoot.
We just love to photograph bridal portraits of our clients as it really allows us to use our creative chops. Think of a bridal portrait session as a dress rehearsal for your big day. This is an opportunity to wear your dress for an hour or so and see if the fit is comfortable, if your hair and makeup really work (is this lipstick too bright?) etc... We recently photographed Casey's bridal portrait at the beautiful Paraiso Maravilla. Her wedding was August 18, 2007 at St Pauls UMC with reception following at Paraiso.
