Eliza's bridal session

We photographed Eliza's session back in February and have waited patiently to share these with you. We set up at her grandmother's home in River Oaks which had amazing light. She was such a charm to work with and I think it shows with the images we were able to capture. After working at the home we had previously arranged with the client to create a few on South Boulevard. We worked quickly to honor this request as the wind was gusty and the temperature was only in the upper 40's. 

Karen + Billy family session

We always love catching up with past clients! We covered Karen and Billy's wedding in 2007 and they recently contacted us for updated family portraits. The couple had just moved into their Frank Lloyd Wright inspired custom home in the Highland Village area and are also expecting their first child together this February. Congratulations guys and thanks for being such good sports.

Stacey + James engagement

This was a truly cool enagegement session to photograph and proof of one of the reasons I love my job. I got to go out to James' family ranch in Blanco, Texas sitting on 2500 acres of prime hill country land complete with abandoned German settlements, old barns, not to mention an awesome couple and a cool dog named Paco. Stacy and James are getting married next month in Houston and I can't wait, I know it's going to be a blast.  

Refine Your Room 2

David headed out to Katy once again to follow up on some additional requests for images for Refine Your Room. There were additional updates as well as a portrait request for the owner, Rhonda Kaiser,  and her faux painter. The details are wonderful and the ceilings were a nice touch. 

Shipley bridal session

We recently photographed Sarah Shipley's bridal portrait at a private home in Tanglewood. Sarah is such a charm to work with and a real trooper. Her Lazaro dress and flowers from Johnathan Andrew Sage are amazing. As her wedding was this last weekend we can now share her images. Wedding day images should follow by the end of the week.

Amy Spalding bridal portrait

Recently David photographed Amy Spalding at her parent's home in Tanglewood for her bridal portraits. Amy was a pleasure to work with and her dress was amazing. The veil is actually her mother's and works so well with the dress. The bouquet was provided by Events in Bloom. We can now share these images as her wedding was this last weekend. Wedding day images should follow by the end of the week.

Refine Your Room samples

We have done work for Rhonda Kaiser in the past with The Cranberry Wreath and her designs at the Houstonian Hotel Club and Spa. She recently trained and became a certified member of the Interior Refiners Network, where she studied in New York City. As a result she has recently started Refine Your Room to expand her services to include interior design and refinement. These images were created to kick start the upcoming website for the company.  

Kellye's bridal

On Tuesday David got the opportunity of photographing Kellye's bridal portrait at a family friend's home in the heart of River Oaks. The estate was fantastic and the weather even allowed for us to work outdoors towards the end. By request of the groom, her mother-in-law to be drove in his favorite hunting rifle to be included in a few images. Kellye's bouquet was provided by Wedding Flowers by Lisa.

Kellye's wedding is this June and will be held at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church with the reception following at The Houstonian.

Ashley's bridal session

We photographed Ashley's bridal portrait at her parents new home in The Woodlands. Can I say, isn't she a gorgeous bride?! Their home recently won second place in a statewide design competition.

Ashley currently lives in North Carolina where she is in grad school. She and her fiance, who is a band director, are looking to move back to Texas after the wedding in November. Their wedding is being planned by Lindsey at For Your Memories and we can't wait because we know it is going to be something special.

David + Suzanne portrait

Recently we were asked to photograph David Syme and his wife Suzanne. They are returning clients as we covered their wedding reception a couple of years ago. David is a Steinway Artist and requested some new promotional images. Suzanne was also in need of an updated headshot for the next edition of her book. The couple also wanted a few portraits of the two of them to display and as gifts for family.
