Meghan + Matt wedding

Meghan and Matt were married this past Saturday at St. Anne's Catholic Church with an early evening reception following at River Oaks Country Club.

The bride wore her grandmother's dress (which her mother also wore on her wedding day) and altered it to update and fit herself. It really was gorgeous. Floral arrangements, bouquets and lounge furniture provided by Events in Bloom while the cakes were created by Who Made the Cake!

The couple first met while both were students at Episcopal High School, where Meghan now teaches Math, and they are still going strong!

Once again we have had to keep these under wraps until the wedding. While we had a few hurdles to cross during the session due to the club double booking bridal sessions and several other repairs that were going on simultaneously. We certainly made the best out of the situation and in the end it all worked out.

We photographed Meghan at River Oaks Country Club which is also where her reception is going to be held. She chose to wear her grandmother's gorgeous wedding gown which she lengthened slightly as well as altered the sleeves to better fit her style. Her bouquet was provided by Events in Bloom.

Events in Bloom - River Oaks Country Club

As we had a rare Sunday wedding this last weekend, Rob with Events in Bloom contacted David to make arrangements to capture room shots for a wedding reception on Saturday at River Oaks Country Club. 

Bevin's bridal session

We were sworn to secrecy and could not share these till after her big day. Her gorgeous Monique Lhuillier dress is a secret for Dan.  Laura did an amazing job with Bevin for her bridal session at River Oaks Country Club. She wanted to really capture Bevin's playful and artistic spirit and used a combination of lenses, some home made and she also brought along her big old Crown graphic 4 x 5 camera for Bevin to play with since she is also a photographer. We had a lot of fun with these and cannot wait until the wedding!

Events in Bloom - River Oaks Country Club

Last weekend Rob Smith asked David to work his magic and document his latest wedding reception decor at River Oaks Country Club. While David actually had a weekend off he certainly did not mind getting to play and capture yet another fantastic Events In Bloom creation. It never ceases to amaze us as to what they come up with next. The custom candle screens, glass pedestals and their fashionable lounge furniture always add a fun touch. Also included is a beautiful bride's cake by Cake Creations that Rob decorated with hydrangeas and orchids.

Events in Bloom at River Oaks

This past Saturday we were asked to do some commercial photography for Events In Bloom at the River Oaks Country Club.  They had done a fantabuloso job of the flowers for a very grand wedding and wanted to make sure that they got some awesome shots of the set up to remember the event and to show future clients. So, while David was busy shooting the Callison wedding at the Alden, Laura was snapping away at the ROCC. Rob, Jesus and the whole team at EIB are so incredibly talented, can't say enough good things about them.

Kristin's wedding

Kristin and her fiancee got hooked on July 12, 2008 at the River Oaks Country Club. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Johnson and the groom's grandfather, Rev. Fletcher. There was a lot of dancing and merriment at the reception, with music provided by the band Klockwork. We really had a great time working with them as they were such a fun and expressive couple. Congratulations!

These are from Kristin's bridal session at the River Oaks Country Club. We have been waiting weeks to show this one off but the dress was super top-secret and we did not want the groom seeing it before the big day. Ok, now go look at the wedding photos :)
